Morpeth Fair Day 2024 was a massive success welcoming over 30,000 people to the centre of Morpeth. The event covered four parts of the town with Bridge Street, Oldgate, New Market and The Stanners filled with activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The event had local traders, street food, live music stage, a dog show, and a vintage car procession that had over 100 cars take part.

This year also saw our Mini Fair Day Market being held at Newmarket.. This was filled with local traders selling amazing street food.

2024 was a very busy year for us here at Northumberland Fair and Events Group! After the success of our Coronation event last year, we wanted to hold something similar on Morpeth’s beautiful Stanners grounds.

Our summer festival took place on Sunday 1st September and was the perfect way to end a successful summer in Morpeth. The festival was well attended and had something there for the whole family to enjoy. The summer festival had over 30 fantastic food, drink and craft traders, organised by North East Markets. The festival was stacked with entertainment for the kids including fairground rides and bouncy castles provided by Turner’s Funfair. 

Similar to our Coronation event last year, our Junior Football Tournament returned with Under 8 and Under 9 teams taking part. The festival also had musical entertainment with Koast Radio providing the soundtrack to the day along with a number of very talented local buskers.

The event was a great success and we look forward to creating more memorable events for families to enjoy next year.
