On Sunday 8th June 2025, Morpeth town centre was transformed for our annual Fair Day event that welcomes over 30,000 visitors into the town!

The day was a massive success with a record number of attendees enjoying everything the day had to offer. The event welcomed its usual jam-packed schedule of entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy including funfair rides, food and drink stalls, dog show and live music performers.

The highlight of the day had to be the vintage car and bike procession which included over 150 vehicles parading down the street creating a fantastic spectacle to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this very special day! 

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who made the day possible: our amazing traders, street performers, musicians, stewards, vintage vehicle owners, security teams, and the brilliant volunteers behind the scenes.

We celebrated the beginning of Spring with our Morpeth May Festival set on our beautiful Stanners on 4th May 2025.

 The festival was well attended and had something there for the whole family to enjoy.

From tasty food traders to crafty gift stalls organised by North East Markets. The festival was stacked with entertainment for the kids including fairground rides and bouncy castles provided by Turner’s Funfair.

Our Junior Football Tournament returned with Under 8 and Under 9 teams taking part. The festival also had musical entertainment with Koast Radio providing the soundtrack to the day along with a number of very talented local buskers.

The event was a great success and we look forward to creating more memorable events for families to enjoy next year.
